- News - [8.25.00] Greetings all, *ahem* After the horrendous occurence on Friday, June 30th (which ultimately led to the dismissal/resignment? of Joe Reed and Vince Curtis from E.H.) and the ensuing hiatus thereafter, Eleventh Hour is once again a functioning band. After trying out two drummers, the new-and-very much improved Eleventh Hour is: Danny McDonald : Vocals and Lead guitars Matt Buonantuono : Lead and Rhythm guitars Fred Morris : Bass guitars Zack Norton : Drums Even though we are a band once again, we shall not rush to get in the swing of performing again. While we all miss playing greatly, but we are going to perfect old songs and prepare new ones. The re-creation of Eleventh Hour will more than likely spawn a liberation of old fans and remaining fans. Fans of Deadlock's relative simplistic groove-based thrash may be a bit disappointed by E.H's complex newer style, utilizing two guitars to their fullest. Also, more layered clean/acoustic parts and clean vocals may alienate death-metal purists from our fan-base. Not as many catchy rhythms, and a lot more emotional songwriting. So be opened-minded. We aren't the same thrash/death metal band we were a year ago. We've evolved greatly... On behalf of Eleventh Hour, -Danny McDonald |
